My trip to TOPS Cebu

It was Wednesday afternoon when I decided to go to TOPS Cebu because I’m motivated to explore new places. After eating lechon and leaving my hotel, I immediately proceeded to the Cebu IT Park Transport Terminal. Then I rode a TOPS shuttle bus going to TOPS which cost 200 pesos. The journey to TOPS Cebu is quite scenic, and the shuttle bus ride is super convenient. After twenty-five minutes, I arrived at TOPS Cebu and presented my entrance ticket to the receptionist, and started exploring the place. The first thing I noticed was that the location of this place is high up on the mountain. When I first stepped onto the circle, there was a kind of energy I felt that I can’t explain, and the feeling was amazing; I couldn’t believe it. Then I noticed that this site features stone arches and hexagon-shaped surfaces remnants of its original design, offering unique photo opportunities.

The view here is fascinating, and I was incredibly lucky with the weather today. I can see the Mactan Channel, Mactan Island, the surrounding coastline, the vibrant city view, and the Cebu–Cordova Link Expressway, also known as CCLEX. For this reason, I took many photos from different angles, and after that, I just stood in one spot and admired the wonderful view. After that, I zoomed in on my camera, and I could also see the popular SM Seaside City Cebu and NUSTAR Hotel Cebu. This unforgettable vantage point is perfect for solo travelers, photographers, couples, and families. Undoubtedly, TOPS Cebu is so popular for taking high-quality photos of the city skyline, making it a must-visit for tourists looking to experience both the mountain and coastal highlights. It’s truly a world-class observation deck in Cebu, and the view overlooking Cebu City was magnificent.

Then I decided to go upstairs towards the SKAI 360 degree, and the view here is incredible and stunning. Without a doubt, it’s the highest point in Cebu City. The gorgeous city night view here is priceless and the vibe here is similar to Antipolo City and Baguio City. Then I noticed that the architecture of TOPS Cebu is similar to the Colosseum in Rome. The unique architecture of this place, combined with its well-maintained facilities, makes it an ideal spot for casual hangouts and romantic dates.

I savored every moment, and I could feel the cool mountain breeze every second even though I was wearing a light jacket. The fresh mountain air and beautiful views of the entire Metro Cebu skyline make this place so relaxing. The nighttime ambiance was delightful. Then I think for a second that there’s still so much more to achieve in this life, but today, I choose to appreciate how far I’ve come. I’m grateful for the journey, proud of the growth, and excited for what’s ahead. Anyway, after enjoying the view for hours, I decided to order a meal and experience indoor and alfresco dining. Bars, restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops it’s all here in this awesome place. From my point of view, TOPS Cebu is not just about the scenery and panoramic view; it also offers a variety of food options, from local delicacies to international favorites, ensuring that visitors can enjoy a delightful meal while taking in the view. Then I stayed for another two hours, and I really enjoyed the relaxing night atmosphere.

To be honest, I don’t want to leave this place because of the breathtaking panoramic views, and I think this is one of the most impressive viewpoints in Cebu. Then it came to my mind that sometimes traveling is more fulfilling when it comes from your own hard-earned money because it’s not just a vacation, but a reminder of all the sleepless nights, overtime, and sacrifices I’ve made. That feeling that every ticket, every meal, every outing you worked hard for, and now you’re seeing the results. Overall, it’s been a great visit to TOPS Cebu; it definitely offers a classic experience for the price, and I will definitely come back to this place again in the near future.
