My trip to Legazpi Boulevard

It was 7 am on a good weather when I rode a tricycle near Ayala Malls Legazpi, heading to Legazpi Boulevard. A few minutes later, I arrived at Legazpi Boulevard. In the first few minutes, I explored the place and saw many locals have an energizing jog and a peaceful walk. In my opinion, it’s a better way to start the day, seeing the sunrise and having an impressive view of Mayon Volcano. Then I saw the sizeable JCI Legazpi Tourism Supermarker, which is a substantial white concrete letters with “LEGAZPI”. I took my opportunity to have a postcard-worthy solo photo of this striking marker, which is a preferred spot for capturing photos with the perfect cone of Mayon Volcano looming in the background.

Afterwards, one of the locals who took my picture told me that if you’ve seen Mayon Volcano in its full glory for the first time, you have a pure heart. Sometimes the volcano is completely hidden behind the clouds. I was happy when he said that, and it absolutely feels great to be alive and see the appealing works of God. To be honest, I never expected that I would have a good view of Mayon Volcano because that day there was an incoming typhoon just outside the Philippines. But the universe has aligned, and I have a breathtaking view of Mayon Volcano.

Then, as I moved forward, I saw some locals enjoying the cool sea breeze while sitting on the sea wall. I envy them, and I also find a quiet spot to sit at the sea wall for thirty minutes while enjoying the sunlight. It’s lovely to see the Mayon Volcano and Albay Gulf in a soothing atmosphere. I feel my spirits rise and soar like the wind, and I feel like being lost in heaven. Nevertheless, it’s great to feel like I’ve not only arrived somewhere, but I also have the story of my journey and how I got there. There’s a different kind of joy in knowing that through your own efforts, you can reward yourself. So I never feel guilty for spending on experiences like this because at the end of the day, memories last longer than material things.

Also, at the back of my mind, it’s nice to live in Legazpi City, life here is very simple and relaxing. Bicolano mornings hit differently, and nothing beats waking up to the world’s most perfect cone volcano. It’s a place that I’ll always want to come back to. In my opinion, the boulevard is clean, well-maintained, and a nice place to just relax and simply enjoy the refreshing view. Without a doubt, Legazpi Boulevard is ideal for leisure activities such as walking, running, and biking while enjoying views of the Mayon Volcano and Albay Gulf.

No trip to Albay is complete without seeing the Legazpi Boulevard. With the stunning view of Mayon Volcano as my backdrop, it’s the ideal spot for photos, sunrise, and sunset views. It’s truly a must-visit boulevard that captures the history and heart of Legazpi City. So I love the Philippines even more, and whether you’re chasing your workout targets or simply embracing the calm of the early morning or afternoon sunset, Legazpi Boulevard is the city’s favorite haven.
