Name: Embarcadero de Legazpi
Location: Legazpi City Port Area, Albay, Philippines
Features: Legazpi City’s coastal charm and picturesque view of Mayon Volcano
My trip to Embarcadero de Legazpi
I can’t wait to keep discovering more of the Philippines, so when I have a chance to book a Cebu Pacific seat sale bound to Daraga, I immediately grab it. It was Sunday afternoon when we arrived at Embarcadero de Legazpi at 4:30 pm, and upon entering the area, we were greeted by a life-size statue of a whale shark (butanding), which is one of the things to see when doing island hopping in Albay and Sorsogon.

Anyway, as we continued to explore the place, we saw the Padre Pio Chapel, which is one of the most solemn chapels I’ve ever been to, and I was truly impressed when I saw the interior through the glass wall. It’s very solemn and peaceful here, and many churchgoers are attending Mass. Also, on the ground floor, we spotted the Puregold supermarket, and as we walked to the nearby food stalls on the left side, we had an unobstructed view of Mayon Volcano and its perfect cone shape towering over the Legazpi City port area and Albay Gulf. We are so fortunate that Mayon Volcano was not covered with thick clouds. For this reason, I fell in love with Embarcadero de Legazpi instantly because the view here is absolutely superb, and from there we eat and we enjoy the laid-back seaside atmosphere.

In my opinion, Embarcadero de Legazpi is a nice place with an ideal mix of ambiance and open air, with a striking view of the majestic Mayon Volcano and Albay Gulf on the right side. Without a doubt, I enjoy the quiet and panoramic view of the Mayon Volcano with the touch of the sea. Afterward, we took a lot of pictures and captured stunning photographs of the sunset over the gulf as it transforms the sky into a canvas of colors that leave us in awe. Also, I saw an airplane that passed the beautiful Mayon Volcano and said to myself that the passengers on that airplane, especially those on the window seat, are so blessed to see up close the Mayon Volcano with a charming orange sunset. Undoubtedly, Embarcadero de Legazpi is worth visiting as it freshens my mind and relaxes my whole soul.

On the other hand, the stunning al fresco area on the second floor is so refreshing. I love the ambience, and the breeze of the sea air calms my spirit. It’s a lovely place to hang out, and I think it’s a good dating spot and a nice place to go, especially if you are with someone. Each moment here, from the coastal side of Legazpi City to the view of the imposing Mayon Volcano, is a memory to cherish forever. From this moment, I said to myself that traveling really does make you fall in love with life even more. Nevertheless, the only negative thing I see in this place is that the water is so dark and polluted, and the place needs a lot of development. I hope the Local Government Unit (LGU) has an action plan to eliminate water pollution. Anyway, we stayed at Embarcadero de Legazpi for two hours and thirty minutes, and after that we went to Ayala Malls Legazpi for our mouthwatering dinner.
